Every year, thousands of commercial building owners across the United States use ENERGY STAR's Portfolio Manager tool to report and manage energy use data about their buildings in addition to details like occupancy, age, size, and more. We created a tool for the Portfolio Manager team, making this data public and easy to explore to help guide policy decisions around energy efficiency.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Clean Air and Power Sector team (CAPD) came to us to help them develop a set of standards for data visualizations and data products across their sites. We created the Data Visualization Style Guide, a robust set of data visualization best practices and guidelines tailored to their needs. EPA employees and contractors alike can use it to produce new visualizations or refine old ones.
